Best Buddies

When we moved to 1000 South shortly after the Wilson's moved in downstairs, Lacey was barely pregnant with Adam, little did we know that we would be such good friends. I know they thought our kids were abnoxious at first and Keith would come and hang out at our back door and chit chat with Jake for literally hours, that opened the door for Lacey and my friendship that I will always cherish. After our upstairs neighbors moved out Keith and Lacey moved out and from then on our homes became one, 90% of the time our front doors were open and the gate was at the top of the stairs to trap in the kids, this didn't always work though. Our open door policy got so open that EmberLee's family picture in preschool had our family in one circle and the Wilson's in another. But she told her teacher she has 2 families. I had to explain this for it to make sense to her teacher. Our friendships spread through to our kids. Keith and Lacey's son Michael ended up being really good friends with EmberLee, Austin, and Kurtis. These two ended up being little buddies. I'm going to truly treasure this.

Before we left I wanted to document Bridger and Adam. Our kids got really close, they would treat each other as siblings. I'm really going to miss Adam's knocks at the door for "B" We love and miss you guys.

Eternaly Together

Jake and I met in the Spring of 2002, and were married 6 months later. Jake married me with an already made family of 2 boys, Kurtis was 6 and Austin was 4. He became their dad legally and eternally on May 26th this year, very long and awaited. Jake and I have never had the one on one time that a couple has before they start their family. We've recently moved our home to Wasilla, Alaska in June 2009. Since we've been married we've added to our small already made family. In 2004 we had our only little girl EmberLee. In 2006 we had Bridger, and our new addition Theron was born Sept 5, 2008. Jake currently works as a Surgical Technologist at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. We are building our online networking business and have some news to hopefully share soon. Moving home closer to family is what we are hoping will soon be in our future. I am working on becoming a midwife. We are homeschooling Austin, Ember, Bridger and Theron. Kurtis has moved out and is staying with a friend because he can break the rules there. he did earn his GED while he was at the AMYA. Austin is a 10th Grader, at home. He is still getting into the mode of homeschool, but with his SAD, he's able to somewhat function then get up and do his work. EmberLee is a at home for 4th grade, she is doing well. Bridger is at home for 1st grade and is working on reading and math mostly. he seems to be doing well. Theron is copying Bridger and learning his colors, shapes, alphabet and is smart as a whip. He loves to learn. That is us in a nutshell.
