So on Friday Kurtis and EmberLee met with Dr Riddle (ear, nose, and throat). EmberLee still doesn't sleep through the night, in fact we believe that she suffers from sleep apnea. She has strep a few times a year, so after Jake and I decided I finally made an appointment for these kids. She will have her adnoids and tonsils removed, and Kurtis he went in because of his severe bloody noses he has at least 3 times a week. More in the summer. Dr Riddles conclusion was that he needs his adnoids and also his nose cautorized. He has very large vessels in his nose that any change in activity with causes blood to pump faster which causes these vessels to pop. We are also going to have his tonsils removed, because he has the large tonsils that have puss pockets in them. Jakes appointment was made also and he is now on ammends after some very aggresive treatment. While the kids were waiting the figured out the chair was a fun ride.

Thursday Kurt finally got his cast off after having an accident. When you hook a snowboard up to a sled it's not the best idea. This is how he achieved this lovely broken thumb. It wasn't just his thumb though, he managed to break it down into the growth plate in his thumb by his wrist. Luckily it was a clean break. He learned that when the cast came off his wrist, and thumb was skinny and oddly hairy. We both laughed for a bit. He was going to try and save this nasty stinky thing but he decided that it definately was smelly. This is what our week consisted of.

Jake says, "GO STEELERS!! they're defense should be rock solid."

Oh man! Sorry that they have to go through so many surgeries. At least it is getting taken care of before they get older and they cause more problems! Good luck with all that!!!
Ain't life grand!!! Thank goodness for kids and the doctors who patch them up!!!
Ya gotta love 'em!!!!
Thanks for your testimony yesterday:)
If you need anything when the kids have their surgery let us know. When are they having surgery? Poor babies. Cakes: In the latin culture, when it's someone's b-day, they have to take a bite out of the cake, and someone behind them shoves their face in the cake. If the person is married, they have to give their spouse a kiss! Hence the reason we both have cake all over our faces.
