Just a quick post.....I did end up taking Kurt, Austin, and Allen fishing with Perry (Jakes friend) and his daughter Amy. Perry again didn't take their fish home, because his wife hates salmon. So between us we took 15 more pinks home. Allen didn't have a license, but wasn't board, he was wack'n fish as fast as we could bring them in. He was bleeding them out and getting them ready to fillet. Before we went home we learned how to fillet them correctly. We brought them home and got them in the freezer. We've learned that there is no longer need for tuna, frying up Salmon and making sandwiches out of it is AMAZING :). The kids went fishing again that following Friday night with their friend Trevor last weekend; However they didn't read the fishing report very well. They thought these fish were large trout.....YEAH RIGHT!!! They had already gutted them at the river, so we had to finish them. They were the Silvers we were trying for down at fish creek. Fortunately for them, they didn't get caught. Needless to say this summer has been full of fishing lessons. How to actually catch them using weights, bobbers, and how to floss them. Very fun. We have some fish in our freezer now. It's not halibut, but it will have to do.
