That "Damn" Water

So the boys came home from their sperm donors house Sunday night. Apparently they had gone camping (elk hunting) Saturday night. Up at Current Creek. We found out that someone had filled a drinking water jug full of Damn water from either Deer Creek Resevouir, or Strawberry Resevouir. I'm not sure which because the kids stories keep changing. The kids said that their grandpa said that it was safe to drink. You have to know their Grandpa, to know the history here. He's a diabetic and thinks that if you freeze chocolate, the sugar goes away and it's ok to eat. He's the same guy that has had a discussion with God and they have an agreement that he doesn't have to go to church, pray, or pay tithing if he goes fishing every Sunday. He probably filled this water jug with this nasty Damn water and figured because it looked ok, and tasted ok, it was therefore....OK. Needless to say Monday morning both the boys were doubled over with stomach cramps. Kurt was nearly in tears and Austin was moaning. Austin had diarhea and Kurt was trying to take it easy so he didn't actually throw up. I was going to just keep an eye on them through out the day, but ended up calling the Dr office to make sure of what I was watching for. Dr Later requested for them to come in. By the time we got there they both seemed to be sick of school, not sick for any other reason. So I told them, if we got in there and nothing was wrong with them, they both owed me the co-pay $20 each. But they were legitimately sick. Both of them were on the verge of needing to give a nice diarhea sample :) to check for Gerardeah(I have no idea how to spell that). Instead they sent us home with cups, gloves and tongue depressers to scrape up the sample from the plastic wrap LOL. They were both discusted and decided to act sick for a bit. They ended up fine and we gratefully didn't need to get any samples. But I think they both might think twice before they drink just any water. Because apparently someone doesn't watch them to make sure they're not drinking things they shouldn't. Can I just say, that I love the act of Service? We found out this morning that Someone got served an "Order to show Cause". And has an official court date of November 14th at 1:30pm. In front of a Judge that will hopefully make him be responsible for once in his life. This is for the Child Support ($9,653.90) of which he currently is in arrears for. We'll be sitting there in the court room on this date. We're hopefully going to be having his in-laws that love him sooo much (not!!) be sitting with us to support the fact that he's a liar, and he can't be responsible. His in-laws are currently picking up the tab for his other son. They aren't to thrilled at all that he refuses to take care of any of his children. We aren't either. If he would just be willing to sign over his parental rights, things could be so much easier for him. Life isn't that easy though, darn it. But we can still hope for the best. We're excited for something that we weren't sure was going to happen. Luckily that has finally happened, he has been served!

Man, it could have been so much worse after drinking that nasty water. Your boys were blessed. I can imagine how furious you must be. In the way of getting the parental rights signed over, you would be amazed at the power of much fasting and prayer. If it is the Lord's will, fasting a few days a week with prayer and faith it will eventually happen. You will deffinately be in my prayers.
