CORNDOG

Meet Corndog. This is Austin's Bearded Dragon. He has been checking them out for quite some time. He earned money to buy this little thing. He has had a name picked out for a very long time. His name is Corndog, because that's Austin's favorite food. I say that if he were dead he would even have his own stick :) He's kind of fun to have around. Austin loves catching bugs for him, he is always online watching video's about them. Corndog likes to sit on the laptop and watch the video's with Austin. It's like a big screen for him I guess. Austin has been begging for quite some time to have me post Corndog on our blog....HERE HE IS. Austin got him about 2 weeks ago. he was 5 in. long from nose to the tip of his tail. He's already grown an inch. He will live around 15 years or so. I'm just counting down the time where Austin leaves home and takes him with him. He can get up to 3 ft long. They're very kind. He's actually pretty fun to have in the house. He loves to eat Mosquito eaters, kind of cool to watch him eat. This is the newest member to our family for now :)

Norm and Frances said...: Somehow I am not one bit surprized at the name of that "thing". He has wanted one for a long time. I remember when he used to go to the pet store and just watch them. Eternaly Together

Jake and I met in the Spring of 2002, and were married 6 months later. Jake married me with an already made family of 2 boys, Kurtis was 6 and Austin was 4. He became their dad legally and eternally on May 26th this year, very long and awaited. Jake and I have never had the one on one time that a couple has before they start their family. We've recently moved our home to Wasilla, Alaska in June 2009. Since we've been married we've added to our small already made family. In 2004 we had our only little girl EmberLee. In 2006 we had Bridger, and our new addition Theron was born Sept 5, 2008. Jake currently works as a Surgical Technologist at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. We are building our online networking business and have some news to hopefully share soon. Moving home closer to family is what we are hoping will soon be in our future. I am working on becoming a midwife. We are homeschooling Austin, Ember, Bridger and Theron. Kurtis has moved out and is staying with a friend because he can break the rules there. he did earn his GED while he was at the AMYA. Austin is a 10th Grader, at home. He is still getting into the mode of homeschool, but with his SAD, he's able to somewhat function then get up and do his work. EmberLee is a at home for 4th grade, she is doing well. Bridger is at home for 1st grade and is working on reading and math mostly. he seems to be doing well. Theron is copying Bridger and learning his colors, shapes, alphabet and is smart as a whip. He loves to learn. That is us in a nutshell.
