So on one of the visits, it was just me and Austin. When we got there the boys traded pants. Obviously they didn't fit Austin to well. He was trying to use the visitor passes to hold them up for a picture. Kurt is still pretty vain. As you can see.
Kurt is not able to use a razor at all. So he's growing a mexi-stash. And he's growing out his uni-brow.
He's also got a few stragglers. I can't see them in this picture really, but if you click on the picture it will open bigger and you can see them that way.
He's also bulked up a little bit.
For those of you that don't know Kurt all that well, he's my picker. He's always been this way. If he has a sore he picks at it. Apparently this is one of those things that is a red flag. I've not really noticed this as a red flag, but is. This wound happened while he was playing basketball with the other kids there at Northstar. One of the kids grabbed the ball out of his arms, and ended up scrapping him with his long fingernails. Of course, Kurt couldn't just leave it alone. He dug at it until it got infected. They finally covered it up so he would leave it along. This is it finally healing.
Now that Kurt is preparing to move facilities, he's excited and ready to move on. We will be at the hospital to check him out at 8am our time, on the 13th of June. He'll have been there exactly 2 months. Longer than the average kid.

I am so glad he is excited and ready to work on things. Maybe this is really a turning point for him. We are all anxious for the day we can communicate with him.
